Web Developer Portfolio & Accessible Digital Projects

About me

I hold a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry from Kingston University, an MA in Web Design and Content Planning from the University of Greenwich, and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) from Goldsmiths, University of London. This multidisciplinary background allows me to combine technical development, educational expertise, and user-focused design.

My work bridges research, teaching and digital development. I collaborate with educators to craft evidence-based inquiry experiences that amplify curiosity, creativity, and measurement. I also build hands-on science investigations and explainable dashboards rooted in pedagogical best practice.

Whether delivering professional development for colleagues or prototyping interactive simulations, I place the learner at the centre and ship polished, responsive experiences.

My latest project has been bourne from analysing my students needs in the classroom. I am a web developer, chemistry specialist and educator specialising in accessible and inclusive digital experiences.

My latest published website has been focused on creating dyslexia-friendly interfaces, interactive teaching resources, and modern solutions that improve usability for all users. For example using accessible digital tools, interactive PDF learning systems, and the use of the Ruffle Flash emulator to preserve and repurpose legacy educational content.

Past Inspirations & Future Aspirations

As in the inspitation for my my Masters Thesis project I wanted a website that empowered teachers in the classroom...
I created Beezyteachers

Watching my students I was thinking of a pupil centric technological solution that impacted significantly on each individual needs...
I created EdTech

Many "Proofs of Concept" have been achieved and I now wish to create an online learning platform that will incorporate the last 20 years of collected resources from my teaching profession

EdTech mission

Our platform supports inclusive learning through a range of accessibility tools designed for students with dyslexia and additional learning needs. Users can customise their experience by changing fonts, adjusting text size and applying background colour overlays to improve readability.

We also provide interactive PDF resources that can be previewed directly on the site, allowing students to engage with form-based learning activities.

Legacy educational content has been preserved using the Ruffle Flash emulator, enabling access to valuable archived learning materials in a modern, secure environment.

The true ambition is to support educators in every stage of their STEM planning process—from research to delivery—by surfacing the best interactive resources, simulations, and real-world investigations.

Key features

Student: Font size can be adjusted · Indents can be applied for ease of reading · Chosen settings will automatically be saved for personalisation

Teacher: Associated worksheets are readily availabe · Worksheets are forms · Hover over icons for a quick preview · Link to the Beezyteachers website for keywords

Interactivity: HTML5 allows for the a keyword and definition strategy to be employed · Legacy resources available via the flash emulator

Accessibility: Choice of recommended fonts · Choice of suggested overlays · Fully responsive across devices

Beezyteachers mission

BeezyTeachers aims to house interactive science, engineering, and mathematics resources within one adaptable platform. Users can tailor their learning journeys, curate subject-specific toolkits, and rate curated content for peers and students.

The true ambition is to support educators in every stage of their STEM planning process—from research to delivery—by surfacing the best interactive resources, simulations, and real-world investigations.
