- Which exam boards do you support?
- I can support GCSE and A-level Chemistry across the main UK exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR and WJEC), focusing on the specification outcomes, required practicals, and exam technique.
- Do you tutor students with dyslexia or SEND needs?
- Yes. I design materials to be dyslexia-friendly and use a structured, low cognitive-load approach with clear steps, scaffolding and plenty of retrieval practice.
- How do online sessions work?
- Sessions are live and interactive using a shared whiteboard, worked examples, and targeted practice questions. After each session you get clear next steps and optional independent practice.
- Can you help with exam technique and mark schemes?
- Absolutely. We practise command words, method marks, common misconceptions, and timing so answers match the mark scheme.
- Do you provide resources between sessions?
- Yes. I provide curated practice, interactive worksheets, and revision plans. Where helpful, I create accessible PDFs and self-check activities.
- What’s your background in chemistry and technology?
- I hold a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry and QTS, and I’m also a web developer (MA in Web Design & Content Planning). This lets me create high-quality digital learning materials and track progress effectively.
